Betsy has over 15 years of experience in the web development field. Starting out as a webmaster at a non-profit and then moving into the government contracting developer position in 1996. Betsy manages a web development team for an INDUS contract with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Her career has progressed from a web developer maintaining a portion of the FHWA web presence, to deputy project manager and then became the project manager of the team 5 years ago.
What has kept her with INDUS for almost 10 years? “The opportunity INDUS has provided to grow through training, varied experiences and position advancement. ” What she loves about her work? “The ever changing technology that is inherent in the IT field and the people. The customers, her team members, and her fellow INDUS contractors always have new challenges, insights and a few laughs to add to her day.” All of this keeps her motivated to learn more and to provide others with growth opportunities as well.
Outside of work, Betsy is married with two kids and a Labrador retriever that keep her on her toes.
